Bathroom Cleaning Tips

Shower doors Shining:

Rubbing a teaspoon of lemon oil on glass shower doors twice a month causes water to bead up and roll off.

Perfect Plugholes:

Keep drains free of hair and clogs by using a product like liquid plumber to make sure potential clogs are gone, then pour boiling hot water down drains once a week to keep problem free.

Sparkling Sink:

To clean the sink fill it up with hot water and drop in a dishwasher tablet. Leave to cool, drain & rinse.

To clean a stained toilet, drop two Steradent dental tablets into the bowl, then rub with a toilet brush for large areas and an old toothbrush for small areas.

Caked-on limescale can be removed using a solution of neat vinegar. You can apply it with a toothbrush, scrub it around, leave it there for a few hours and then rinse. Or moist a paper towel in the solution of neat vinegar, attach it to the tap with an elastic band, leave it overnight and rinse. To remove from shower head, leave it in a bag full of vinegar overnight. The limescale should have loosened. Reattach to the hose and rinse.
